Stopped in for lunch last Wednesday...

Stopped in for lunch last Wednesday about twelve noon. It was my first visit to Archibalds. There were maybe fifteen people in the place when I arrived and maybe twenty when i left a little before one. Girls were dancing on both stages. I saw only fives and sixes dancing.

The bartender was a nine and very nice. I sat at the bar and ordered the caesar salad. Huge plate arrived for a very reasonable price. Even non-alcoholic drinks are fairly expensive. By the time I left though there was a lot of cigarette smoke.

Some dancers made a point of walking by customers after their set but did not solicit tips. Others plopped down next to what I imagine were regulars. None sat down next to me to make conversation.
