The Ridgewood Lounge II has not been reviewed in five years, so I went to check it out or see if it was even still open. I arrived on a Saturday night around 19:00. The club is not easy to spot in the dark. It is situated a ways back from the highway and not illuminated at night. The only way I knew it was an open establishment was the lone neon Budweiser sign glowing in the distance. The parking lot is gravel. Once inside, there were just a couple locals and the bartender shooting pool. I learned that the dancers do not start until 21:00. I decided to shoot pool, play music on the jukebox, and drink for the two hours until the adult entertainment started. Sincweisers were $3 and served in cans. The locals seemed to prefer Busch and Busch Light.

The Ridgewood Lounge is like an old roadhouse. There is a wood-burning stove to the left as you enter. A kitchen is in the corner with the bar to its right as you walk in. There are five pool tables in the front area that takes up about 75% of the inside. The strip club is in the back 25% of the building. The back area has a stage about a foot off of the ground with a pole in the middle. It is surrounded by a tip rail and chairs. There are two lap dance booths with benches in the corner of the strip club area of the room. Each booth has a curtain that closes across the opening. There are no cameras. The ATM charges a $3.25 fee.

There were four ladies working on a Saturday night. The first was a short and fat with blonde hair. Either she was white with a very dark tan or Dominican. She was late 40’s or 50 I would guess. I would her a 1 at best on a 10 point scale. The next dancer was a 30-something blonde named Lexi. She was wrecked from multiple kids (baby belly, saggy tits) and was not HWP. She was about a 2 on a 10 point scale. There were also two African-American dancers from Chicago who came to town to work for the weekend. I’d grade the better looking one a 5, and the uglier of the duo a 3. There was also a brunette working that I did not see on stage. She was late twenties and a 5. It looked like mileage was good at the stage. A dollar on the tip rail would get a dancer to come down into your lap and grind you. Private dances were $20 for topless and $30 for nude, but it seemed you could easily negotiate a better price. The five entertainer line-up was not appealing to my tastes, so I did not sample any private dances.
