Monday at the Bush

Went to The Great Alaskan Bush Co in Anchorage on Monday night about 10:30. Got a parking spot right up front not very many cars in the lot. No cover charge. The club is worth going to just for a drink. It is made up to look like an old time western saloon. To the right is a long bar to the left in the front corner is a short walled area for dances. In the center of the left wall is a circular stage with no pole. About 16 – 18 chairs around the stage with tables and chairs behind this and booths behind those .Next to the stage stairs go up to the dressing rooms with the DJ booth next to them. In the back of the room are pool tables and bathrooms. A balcony goes across the back wall and over the bar. It is almost like a step back in time.

There were 10 – 12 dancers in the club of varying degrees of hotness. Probably someone to fit anyone’s taste. That’s all I will say about that because they were all getting takers for dances. I did not partake because I won’t pay 25 dollars for a no contact air dance. The dancers did 2 song sets on stage getting naked at some point. Dancers were not to high pressure trying to get dances but were not very talkative either considering there were only 10 to 15 patrons in the club.

I ordered a beer from the waitress which was $5.50 a makers mark and seven up was $9.00 so drink prices are a little steep but this is Alaska everything cost more. Plus there is no cover so not too bad.

I returned on Tuesday about 5:00 thinking maybe because of the cold nights it may be better early. There was only 1 dancer on the board so I left and got something to eat. Retuning about 6:00 there were about 5 dancers on the board. So I stayed though 1 rotation and left about 7:00.

Overall this is an interesting club I am sure it would be a lot better on Friday and Saturday nights. Not a bad place to stop for a drink and see some naked women.
