A Disappointing Visit

I stopped at Lace last Friday a little before 12:30 PM. It was a lot more crowded than usual for so early in the afternoon. I was hoping to spend some time with my favorite dancer. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a drink.

Unfortunately the girl that I came to see was already busy with one of her regulars. Another dancer that I knew came and sat with me and we chatted a bit. She knew that I was waiting for someone else and so left after a few minutes.

There were a few other dancers just coming in but no one that I was interested in. The dancer that I came to see was still busy and it was clear that she would not be available for a while. I wasn't able to wait any longer and so I left.
