Rough night
The club is tucked in behind a TA truck stop and a little not past Ruttenbucks (what a terrible name for a restaurant). Parking is along the street, and overflow is across the road in a gravel lot. Walk down some wooden stairs and through the door into an entry foyer. The doorman was across the counter and asked for ID. Once he determined I was old enough to enter, he collected the $5 cover and buzzed the door open. The men’s restroom and ATM are immediately to your left after entering. The bar is straight ahead and the stage is to the right. A few wooden tables are between the door and bar. Well worn meal chairs surround the stage.
When I walked , a very large AA woman was on the stage. I understand people like different things, but she was way too big to be my type. I’m guessing she was close to 275-300 lbs. Two additional dancers were hanging with what appeared to be a regular by the bar. Approximately 8-10 other customers were scattered throughout the club.
I had one Coors Light for $4.75. I think I overheard the guy with two girls beside me order them drinks for $20 each. He went upstairs for VIP private dances pretty soon after ordering the drinks. I didn’t hear how much the time upstairs was. Since he took two dancers up and there was already another upstairs, the big girl that was dancing when I entered kept on going because she was the only one not in VIP.
