Good for what it is

The last part of my 2 weeks in Florida was in Dunedin. I took some time in the afternoons to fight the US19 traffic to visit a couple of the Pasco County clubs. I was at Allure on Wednesday Feb 20, 2019 from about 4:45 to 6:15 pm. It’s a rather small building with not much parking in front but with sufficient in the overflow area to the rear. Quite a few cars, and motorcycles, when I got there. It was dark in the club and took a while for my eyes to adjust from the bright outdoor sunlight. No cover at this time. The entrance is near one end of the rectangular building. The bar is at one narrow end of the building and the stage at the other, with tables in between and couches along the long wall. The stage had one pole and dancers sometimes used horizontal bars above the edges of the stage. A few flashing lights but not too fancy. A couple of TV’s at the bar where showing replays of NFL games (seems strange for February) and a single TV at the stage was showing what looked like music videos related to the song being played. There was a bartender and a server. Orange juice was only $2.75 but mostly ice while generic bottled water was $4.

There were about 15 customers, mostly blue collar types but a few senior citizens, which is the category I fit into. There were no female customers. Smoking was allowed and rather bad, as most of the customers were smoking and also most of the dancers were smoking as well. One dancer approached me and asked if I minded she smoked and seemed a bit put out when I said yes I did mind. There were about a dozen dancers, all white except a couple of AA dancers came in near the end of my visit. Most were somewhat older but not in bad shape. A few had tats. Song length seemed very long. Dances at the stage varied quite a lot, some took nothing off while others got nude almost at once. There were several times when there was nobody on stage. One of these times the server got up there and danced. She was kind of a GND type and wasn’t dressed in the usual server outfit, rather in a floral print, thigh length, dress. When she got on stage and started pulling up the dress it became evident she wasn’t wearing any underwear! She got quite a few tips, but then just went back to serving.

A lot of the dancers seemed to be with regulars. A couple of them approached me.. The first was the “may I smoke” one who started a somewhat suggestive conversation, “ what do you like to do here’ etc. My response was noncommittal and she broke off the conversation. Finally I connected with a tall older blonde while she was dancing on the stage. She gave a between the legs handshake to me. We went back to the lap dance rooms. Dances are $85 dollars for 15 minutes, some higher price including drinks for longer times. No single song price was quoted. The fee was payable to a cashier in advance at the entrance to the lap rooms. The lap dance rooms were enclosed spaces with bench seats, thick curtains, and red lighting. The dancer timed the 15 minutes with her cell phone timer. As soon as we started she asked if I wanted anything extra, using that exact word. I was not interested this day and declined the offer. I think she was a little less enthusiastic after this although the lap dance was OK, 2 way touch, some stick shifting, petting the kitty allowed.
