Cheers with Strippers
Arrived at about 11:00 p.m. on a Thursday evening. The parking lot looked about half full. Went to the door, had my ID checked, and paid $10 cover to the door girl. A very large bouncer asked me to remove any metal from my pockets and directed me through a metal detector to my left.
Stepping into the club, you immediately encounter one end of the large, island type bar, which stretches the length of the club. Cheerleaders is a pretty big club, so the bar is big, too. In fact, it might be the largest bar I have ever seen. Despite the half full parking lot, it didn’t look very crowded, but there were probably a couple of dozen guys, mostly white, scattered along the long bar and seating along the wall. I sat at the bar and ordered a $6 domestic beer.
There is a stage with two poles that runs to the left of the bar and another, bigger stage with six poles behind the bar. The one behind the bar is actually two stages, one stage for each end of the bar, with three poles each, and a couple of foot gap in the middle. There were four girls dancing the whole time was there, one on the stage to the left of the bar and three inside the bar. They started out on the left stage, then after each song moved to the stage inside the bar at far end, then toward the middle of the inner stage, and then to the end near the door. The girls always helped each other over the gap in the middle of the big inside stage.
