Wednesday night is slow, but the dancers are still gorgeous

I’ve visited the Pony numerous times during the last year or so, and nothing has ever changed about the physical layout of the club itself. Basically it’s one big stage with a bar on one side and seating all around except for the entrance side. There’s a tiny restroom on the far side of the bar. To the left when you first enter is a short flight of stairs leading to what’s referred to as the VIP area. Beyond this area is where the private dances take place. Though I’ve never been on a weekend night, I understand you can sit in the VIP area then for a $5 upcharge. It might be a good deal, just because it’s a bit less cramped up there and the couches and other seating are superior to what’s around the big stage. I once tried to sit up there with a dancer on a weeknight, and they shooed us back to the main area.

I mostly come to Huntsville on weeknights. Until this last visit, I’ve been to the Pony on a Monday, Tuesday, and a Thursday. Monday was pretty dead, with just a handful of dancers and customers. Tuesday is a little better; I’d expect at least a dozen girls then. Thursday is pretty happening, especially if there’s a feature dancer. I’ve seen 40+ dancers in the club on a Thursday. For my Wednesday visit, I’d rate it somewhere above Monday but not as good as Tuesday.

When I arrived around 9:30, it looked like a Monday, with only 3-4 dancers in the club. But, by he time it was 10:30, that number was up to about 10. That’s really enough for a good time, even though 40+ is like heaven. The great thing about the Pony is that having 10 dancers probably means there are 10 PRETTY dancers, and at least a few GORGEOUS dancers. At other Huntsville clubs, you might see just a few truly attractive girls amongst 10 dancers, and you may or may not find one who is truly exceptional. Sure, some of those other-club girls may be up for extras, but finding them is a crap shoot and the experiences aren’t often that great.
