Quick stop at Curves in Tucson

So I was stuck in Tucson one evening and checked the Tuscl reviews and scores and decided to check out Curves. From what I read on here it did seem as if this was one of the best clubs in Tucson and I have no reason to doubt that. I haven't checked out the other clubs in Tucson so my review and scores are based on comparison to DFW clubs which is my home area.

I stopped by curves in the mid to late evening on a Friday night. Entering the club there is a roped off area with a bouncer who makes you stand behind a rope (seemingly for zero reason) before letting you pass and using a metal detector wand on you. The club then demands to see your ID which they appear to photograph. So strike one and two right there...

After passing the door girl the "manager/bouncer" led me into the main room (again seemingly for zero reason) and offered to get me a table. It seemed like he wanted a tip or a fee to let me sit at a table. If some Tucson locals are reading this putting some info in future reviews that details the table policies and norms would be excellent info!
