I'd go back

Went to the Gold Club for the first time ever last Thursday night. I have been avoided this place over time since the mandatory valet is dumb on many levels. It was only $6 but I don't like valet guys driving my car. I am not sure where they park the cars or how big the lot is; I think in back. It was windy as hell and I envisioned the valet guy opening my door, wind catching it and slamming into the car next to it. Whatever though, I figured what the hell, unlikely for something to actually happen.

Show free cover text that I got from the website upon entry. Put a buck in the tip jar; the girl was cute. Mandatory coat check. So now I have two tickets - one for valet, one for my coat and I've barely stepped in. Kinda dumb really.

Big clean men's rooms off to the right. Why mention the men's room. If one drinks a lot you spend a fair amount of time in there over the course of the night. And some places have a men's room that is downright messed up. Off to the bar. Got a $5 domestic bottle. Had several more over the course of the night. Enclosed small smoking area off the back. Not heated but better than having your tush fully outdoors.
