Back in TJ after a 4 months away.

Haven’t been to TJ since late summer. Wanted to head down there to do my normal (or abnormal depending on ones pont of view) PL mongering, and get a healthy (unhealthy probably) dose of debauchery. The “caravan” stuff, and all the border wall talk has kept me away. But there comes a time when a man has to do what he has to do. That, and my Cialis supply was running low. It’s cheap, and easy to get in Mexico. So... off I went.

Had minor car trouble on the way drive down. The 5ish hour drive turned into 7. Wanted to get there at 6, but ended up being about 8:30 as I crossed into Mexico. Funny how after a dozen or so crossings I have lost my inhibitions talking to the Mexican border guys. When they ask why I’m coming in, I just say, “Zona Norta” (Where the brothels are), they stamp my passport, give me my visa thing to sign, and I’m on my way. Anyway... i’ll spare all the details of getting to the club, but I will say, it was hard not to miss all the tents that the migrants are living in along my taxi ride. Other than that, I didn’t notice any other effects of them.

I got my new VIP card for $50, but it’s only good for 3 months, not 6. It gets me a room for $15 on Mon and Tues, and a free drink once a day, so it’s still a good deal. When I went downstairs to check out the talent, I was underwhelmed. No one made me really think twice. It was already almost 9 by now. One of the reasons I like to get there at 5 or so, is to check out 2 shifts worth of prospective victims.
