Trying too hard

Been about two years, and one name change since I've been here (last time it was still Hustler Club) and it's still one of the nicest facilities in the area. Big, comfortable, and cleaner than some of the competition. My main opinion is they seem to be trying to be too much of an upscale Vegas type of a club but this area just doesn't seem to have the talent or the clientele to pull it off. Granted I was there on an afternoon, but the talent on hand was somewhat sparse and on the lower end of the scale. Mileage was moderate and I really wasn't in the mood to open up the wallet to see how far I could get, but drink prices were extremely good for a club ($2 beers on Tuesdays). Staff and bartender were nice enough that I never felt ignored and I also appreciate the volume level of the music was kept to a low enough level that conversation with the staff and talent was possible without having to shout. Maybe at a later time of day to quantity and quality of talent picks up, but I can't really complain about being able to drink a $2 beer while looking at titties.
