Thursday of Phoenix Open

I went to HL the first night of the Phoenix Open tournament play (Thursday). I got in about 7 and able to get a 2 fer 1. The place as 90% full maybe one or two seats in the middle and a couple along the wall with dancers sitting in them. I was able to get a decent seat just because someone was left at the right time for me. Thursday is normally a good day. It sometimes clears out between 6 and 7 and gets crowded again later, but today there were plenty of girls and PLs.

I really hate what they have done with the floor area with the installations of the VIP booths. I know it has been a while, but I have been lucky enough to visit at not too crowed times. They expanded the VIP area, but kept all of the table and chairs on the floor. The result is the table are crammed together and the chairs are crammed together. I have asked some dancers if this affected them and they said they would not go to the center when it was crowded for a group of guys with the thinking being that that they were not likely to get a dance if there was a group. I think if you get stuck in the middle on a crowded night, try for a different table or bar ASAP and be aggressive in getting the dancer you want.

The bar also has seats jammed close to together and is not the most comfortable, but far better than being in the middle.
