Where have all the dancers gone?
Since the near-simultaneous closure of four metro Atlanta strip clubs there's been a diaspora of dancers migrating to other clubs, which in some cases is enough to change the overall quality of the venues where the displaced darlings resettle.
The stretch of Fulton Industrial Boulevard at I-20 just west of Atlanta is notoriously sketchy day or night, with a mix of truck stops, industrial parks, run-down or outright abandoned no-tels, and a small cluster of strip clubs. Riley's was one of the better quality joints in this group but it was shut down in the wake of losing a major court case.
Since Riley's had already taken in a selection of dancers from the Sandy Springs closures (Mardi Gras, Dollhouse, and the infamous Flashers), when Riley's shut down Fannie's Cabaret was the next "mixed" club in line for talent. With this info in mind and some early reports of quality dancers and potential Follies-grade floor dances, I decided a recon visit was in order to see how things have changed.
