I went to the Hi-Liter for the first time Monday night around 5 PM. The only other club I’ve been to here in Phoenix was Scores now Babes. What a difference, Hi-Liter was quite crowded with at least 15 dancers many of whom were 8 and 9’s. Lots of the girls were giving table dances which looked like lap dances to me. It seemed strange to me that one would choose to receive a dance on the main floor without a bit of privacy. I’m used to Baltimore where there usually is a lap dance area where one can expect some level of privacy. It gives you an opportunity for just a few dollars to sample the goods I guess. I get it, it’s a lot cheaper, but the restrictions on those types of dances did not appeal to me. The next time I go I’ll try a VIP dance, I’m told LD’s are $25 a dance and are done in a little area that separates each booth with a least a wall. Those seem to be your only options, either a lap dance in a semi-private area or a table dance in the open where ever you happen to be seated — no Champagne room where you can take a favorite girl and be alone.

The Bar Tender was attentive, and the drinks were reasonable at that time of day and no cover until 7 I believe. I only had and hour or so and I was just checking things out for a future visit when I have more time and money. Comparatively speaking Hi-Liter make “Babes” look like a real dump.
