Finally, a Foray to the Famous Follies

Out-of-towner, first-timer review...

Follies was actually my "Plan B". I initially was going to explore a local club, after midnight Friday - so I went to bed early. But I woke up around 1:30, felt groggy and lazy, not motivated enough to get dressed and shaved... and I went back to sleep. So - I woke up again early on Saturday and thought: "It is a drizzly day, I won't get much done. Looks like a good excuse to do that road trip to Follies!!"

(One of the other things that got me to make the journey is recent reviews mentioning Follies' spat with Chamblee. Let's admit this, guys: Usually when the city council decides they don't want a club around - the club will be harassed with ordinance and indecency violations until they close or move, or at least drastically reduce the mileage. We can all name good clubs since the 1990s that are gone, or not what they used to be, due to pressure. I figured I had better see this for myself, before things change.)
