The closure of the Stillwater bridge had me worried about the old Cajun Club. It's more difficult to get to "downtown" Houlton now, but in my two visits yesterday it seemed to be chugging along.

I arrived right at opening, 4:30, and only stayed in the sports bar side, but it was clean and had a good happy hour, with $2 cans and tail drinks ('til 7). A Spotted Cow coat $5.50 and was good and cold.

The owner said the one dancer there at opening would start dancing at 5:30, but he offered to see if she wanted to start early for me. I passed, as i didn't have time then. I only caught a passing glimpse, but she was at least a 7 or 8.
