Slim pickings, nothing extraordinary

I was spending the weekend in Lansing so I figured I'd check out a club while here. Omar's is conveniently in the heart of downtown. Arrived around 11pm and asked about a no-cover special that I had heard about, but was told that the special wasn't running anymore, so I paid $5 cover. Drinks were priced normally for clubs ($5 for beers, $3-5 for test tube shots, around $10 for mixed drinks). They had free popcorn which I did not try, and a limited food menu that I also passed on.

When you walk through the door to the first floor there is a horseshoe bar immediately to your left with seats at the bar and tables a little bit further behind. As you continue further towards the back you step down to the stage area where a large circular stage is surrounded with tables both right next to the stage and a little further behind. The DJ is located on the back wall. There is also a second floor where they have a room for regular dances, a room for VIP dances, and a small additional bar with no seats (presumably just to serve people getting dances).

I first sat down at a table that was about ten or so feet away from the stage. Girls did a standard 3 song set with their top generally on for the first song. If laying face-up on the stage and having the dancer rub their chest/ass in your face is your thing, there was plenty of that welcomed at the stage. Definitely no extras inside the club, but depending on your standards at least two of the girls were open to OTC (thankfully my standards were high that night so I went home alone). Waitress came by often enough to keep replacing my drink. There were definitely less customers and dancers than I expected; on average maybe 15-20 customers and 10-15 dancers. Made the place seem a little empty. As I was first looking around I did not see any girls that I was interested in; mostly 3-5's with maybe two 6's. Girls were mostly on the younger side, there was a variety of races, but they just did not have all the best physical features on bodies or faces. There was a role call deal where all the dancers appeared and if you bought a dance you could get a drink for $1, but I still did not see anyone of consideration. I figured it might just be a two drinks and leave kind of night.
