Like a retirement community
I was in Sarasota for work and had a Friday afternoon to kill. I did my TUSCL research and realized that if I wanted to have any real fun, I probably would have to drive an hour or so north toward Tampa. I had to be in Sarasota in the evening, so I decided to settle on Cheetah, which is the only club in Sarasota proper. I say “settle” because the reviews for this place didn’t give me much hope that I would have a satisfying time.
I arrived mid afternoon. Club is in a safe place, on a main road, with plenty of parking. Facilities are nice. Mid size club. Layout when you walk in is tables and chairs covering most of the main floor, VIP booths on the left, a raised bar area on the right.
When I arrived, I headed for the bar to get a drink. After getting situated I began to look around and I quickly realized I was easily the youngest customer present. I was born in the 1970s to put that into some context. I know Florida has a lot of retirees, but good gosh, I felt like my grandfather would walk in the door next, and he’s been dead for 20 years. God bless these old poon hounds who are burning the back end of their 401(k) on Viagra and dancers.
