Leave the gun, take the cannoli

Went to the Men’s Club the week before Christmas on Wednesday. I have generally tried to go on Wednesday’s since they tend to get more people in for their buffet. The thinking being more people more entertainers. It has been my experience that the day shift in Charlotte tends to be poor, so some type of attraction (sporting event/convention/Buffett) is necessary to incent dancers to work.

I feel that the overall quality of entertainers has fallen at the Mens Club over the past 5 years, but that it still had the most attractive dancers in Charlotte. Not on this visit. I saw no one that I wanted a dance from, and left after eating at the buffet, which was surprisingly good.

Places like the Men’s Club need good eye candy, given the relative lameness of the dances. I am finding this is less the case, and the buffet, while good, is not why I go to a strip club.
