Always wondered what a strip club was like on New Year's Eve...
Knocked off of work a little early to stop by Oasis on New Year's Eve afternoon..... say that fast three times!
Was hoping to catch up with a favorite but did not text in advance. The club has been described many times in reviews but I'll simply reference the observations that strikes me each and every time. The ceilings are very high which helps with smoke smell and most regulars set on the hi tops that are lined against the wall. Non regulars like myself usually wind up at one of the four top tables scattered on the main part of the floor. This is one of those clubs where you feel like you're sitting out in the wide open consequently you see very few lap dances occurring out on the main floor.
As the title indicated, I really didn't know what to expect on this visit. It's been a long time since I've visited a club right before a major holiday. I guess what I found is not too surprising. It was a very light turn out of both customers and answers. When I got there around 1:30, there were probably seven or eight other guys, most sitting at the bar. Most of the tables on the outer edge along the wall were empty. A few of the high tops had the VIP signs removed. I still chose not to sit there.
