Came through Cle last night and wanted to stop in at Magic City. The outside sign is newer since it changed owners about a year or so ago, and was lit with a spotlight, but nothing going on inside and 3 road cones by the front door on the sidewalk. This used to be my goto afternoon place after 4 and it was great...up to about 2015. I know it changed owners and the new guy did some renovation inside as far as a designated dance area and some clean up.
Anybody know what is up here? To stop by on a Thursday night with no action ain't good. I did notice a sign a little east on St Clair "the Velvet Rope" but didn't try to stop. I found a FB page for that place but no hours posted, and it didn't look like that place was open either.
What the hell has happened to the Cle strip scene? Used to be a few great bars with great women and great dances for decent money. Best I can find now is Alibi. The Den is a hustle with now privacy, and the rest have to be "gentleman's clubs".

A duck is a duck. Cle needs a couple clubs with good ladies, great milage, and low cost.
