Dollies comes through again

I’m an old customer of all the east side haunts but dollies never fails. You might not always get the primo girls but it’s always a site thing. Went on a Wednesday afternoon and to be honest have not been there at night for ages. I have never been fearful of the area and have never had a problem. The layout of inside had been covered many times. The old man is still there taking the gate. He is a fixture and I think he was involved in the St. Louis boxing world back in the day. He has done pretty good stories of you ask him about it. Cover is $3 some have mentioned drink minimum but I have never been hassled to get one but I usually get a Diet Coke anyway. Always an interesting vibe here. Mostly old men hanging out. I saw a cute black girl and can’t honestly remember her name. I had seen her there before. She is probably 30s 5’6 slender. Just my type. Once in a while there is a dancer on the stage but not normally. Anyway she and I sit at a table and ya know it up for 20 minutes or so. The other girls still come by and want a tip for nothing which is BS but I usually give them a dollar. After a while she suggested we go behind the beads. Very spartan as has been described and if you are worried about privacy them you don’t belong at dollies. It was 60 for her to sing covered billy joel to me and she put in a damn fine effort. Not a big fan of translated songs but she got an A for effort. She is very cute which helped. I will try to get back so I can give you a name. In and out in a around 45 minutes. All in all another great tone at dollies.
