It was generally boring as usual.
Last Saturday was no different than all the other previous visits because the girls seemed to lack motivation when it comes to hustling other dances from other customers. Instead, they'd rather sit with their regulars or stay in the dressing room if they can't find anyone interesting. When it comes to those so-called blue light promotions, they don't seem to motivate the girls to walk around the floor to ask customers to take advantage of the promotions. I got upset when I saw girls that I liked, were sitting down with their customers during the blue light specials because I want to take advantage of the specials with them.
Deja Vu feels more like a local bar where they girls don't give strangers the time of day. Since the showgirls are independent contractors instead of employees, they are not obligated to follow the manager's orders. But nevertheless, they should make every customers feel at home, so the club could see repeat business. Good customer service equals repeat business. Even though the girls gets paid solely on tips, there are some girls that are not worthy because they'd rather play with their cell phones than be approached by some customer who has an interest in her. What's the point of working there if you don't want to be approached? Speaking of cell phones, they have this policy of customers not being allowed to use their phones on the floor, like we're going take pictures of tacky-looking girls, who have tattoos all over their bodies. What people in their right minds would do that?
Deja Vu, overall, is a miss, because the girls to seem unmotivated to do anything on the floor. Why go to a club where they lack motivation? Downstairs, on the lower level, is Dreamgirls, where it's smoke and alcohol-free and the girls dance nude. Plus, the music is more up-to-date than Deja Vu.
