More night club than strip club

I happened to be in the Miami/SoFlo area for work at the end of 2018 and decided to use it as an opportunity to check out the local clubs. I read the various reviews and reached out to the local guru (PC) for advice so I had a pretty good understanding of what was available and for what prices at the different clubs. I tried to visit most clubs at least twice, once on a weekday and once on a Friday or Saturday (all night shifts), unless otherwise stated. These reviews come from the perspective of a non-local/tourist so some stuff probably won’t apply to locals who visit these clubs on a frequent/weekly basis. I’ve also posted reviews for a few other clubs from this same time frame so check those out if you're interested.

I went to Scarlett’s late on a Saturday night. It was probably my least favorite SoFlo club, and it was one of the few clubs I didn’t visit more than once. In general, the reasons for the more negative response were that it was more expensive than any other Miami club and by quite a bit and it didn’t seem like there was any value at this club. To give you an idea, cover was $20, which was twice as much as at any other club I visited, and a bottle of water was $10 so you’re already looking at dropping a decent amount of cash to get in and get drinks before you even get to the girls. Single lap dances were also more than any place I went (think I was quoted $35 for a dance and I didn’t bother asking about the VIP). So yeah it’s expensive.

The other reasons for the less than enthusiastic response was that the club vibe was not really my thing. It seemed like it was more of a night club than strip club with a ton of couples and groups out to party, which is fine except it’s not what I’m looking for at a strip club. I’m there for the strippers, not for the club. Lastly, the parking was a gigantic pain. The club is located pretty close to the highway so it’s not difficult to get to, but there was absolutely no parking when I was there and it wasn’t clear where you were exactly supposed to self-park and not get towed. I ended up parking in front of a store that sold adult toys.
