Bring your ID
Friday night I was within a couple blocks of this dive so like many other times I decided to stop in and check and see if by any slight possibility that there might be a dancer worth checking out. I'll get to that in a minute.
The glass door to this place is always locked and a doorman has to let you in. When he opened the door he asked to see my ID. I asked him why and he told me that the owner doesn't want anyone admitted without showing an ID so I showed my ID and he let me in. Personally I don't like that requirement to enter and that's another reason to possibly avoid this bar in the future.
The other reasons to avoid, basically nothing has changed here. It's a still a dive and the clientele is proof of that, mostly neighborhood residents and hoodrats and it's not a nice neighborhood but after 3 other local clubs have recently closed it's all that's available in the nearby area unless you head north to the flats which is something i'll have to try before the snow falls. Another reason is that even though it was peak time on a Friday night there wasn't a single dancer here better than an almost "4" rating and all but that one almost "4" were in the 1-3 range so my hope of finding a dancer worth checking out was painfully futile as every dancer was not someone that I desired to spend time with or money on. I'll leave my dancer rating at that.
