Don't go on amateur night

I hadn't been to this club in a LONG time, but a dancer that I like moved to this club from her last club, so I thought I'd give it a try. It was my bad luck that she wasn't working that night. And even worse luck that I went on a Tuesday night, which is amateur night (or at least, was on the night I was there). I thought it was odd to charge such a high cover (25?) on a mid-week night, but I guess that's why.

I saw plenty of girls, so I figured it would be a great night. many were good looking - not knockouts, but decent. After a few minutes, I realized that they weren't working there. They were there for the talent show, which wasn't for another hour or two. Most came with their boyfriends, and were sitting with them exclusively, or together while they got ready for their show. I got the impression this is how they audition potential new dancers, so it's not even really 'amateur' night.

I didn't stay for the talent show. I don't come for the stage show, I enjoy getting 1:1 lap dances from the girls who actually work there. This night there weren't too many girls on shift. Only 1-2 that I'd consider paying for a private dance with. I got a dance from one, which was not cheap (40?) and not really worth it.
