I have converted to HK after this

I'm not a regular to Tijuana. I have been maybe half a dozen times or so, basically whenever I go to San Diego. In the past it seemed to me that the maseros were less pushy, the girls were more natural and the place more laid back than HK. Granted the girls at HK were, as a general rule prettier. This time, however, I was turned off by many of the girls coming around and asking for a dollar. I don't mind tipping if they dance on stage and come around immediately afterwards or if they stopped by to tease me a little, but this tip felt more like a tax for sitting down. I thought that was why I bought a beer! I was happier to pay me paper towel tax in the men's bathroom. There was only one girl that I found pretty, but she seemed more interested in her phone than making money. The smoke in the air, or something, was starting to make me cough so I went back to HK. I guess I'm less likely to rush to Adelita the next time I go to San Diego.
