Pretty damned OK.

Been a while since I've been do this club; I only make it to that area once or twice per year. Got there just about opening time, i.e. 9:00 pm, so when I walked in, there were not yet any girls out on the floor. So I sat down. Club layout hasn't changed any that I can see. Still a big room with the "bar" off to the right, and the stage to the center back. Stage is still just a very low platform with a railed wall around it. The "DJ" still almost mumbles. The pulled pork was very good; not sure what that very sweet sauce was they had on it, but it was tasty. Plenty of room to see on this not very busy night. The bathroom door still doesn't close all the way. Still allows smoking inside, though the paucity of clientele kept that problem to a minimum.

The dancers were a bog standard, stereotypical lineup. The hot, fun chick, who was busy all night with regulars, but still took time to take a traveler's money and be nice about it. The hot ROB (more about her later). The attractive trio of hustlers who worked the room and didn't appear to be annoying or full of themselves. The almost attractive group who mostly just asked for dances in a pleasant-ish manner, and didn't really engage much other than to offer up their services, and not upset or offended when I declined.

And last but not least, the not at all attractive group, one of whom spoke in the most ridiculously overacted suggestive way, and in the raspiest smoker's voice I've heard in a long time, about "the early bird getting the worm" and how much fun she was. She also made it a point to use my name in almost every sentence, and every time she passed by me, as if to impress me with how clever she was to remember it. There was the leech who sat down and talked almost non-stop about her waitressing job, her kid, her ex, and whatever other subject entered into her head. There wasn't anyone else even on the floor at the time, so I didn't make an issue of it. But when the other girls started coming out, I just told her that I wasn't interested.
