Maybe If You Want to Chill

With all the closures lately, I wanted to find another club or two, and so I gave Club Platinum a look. Parking is tight but there is a side street if needed. After the standard pat down outside the door, cover on the inside is $10 plus something for the tip bin.

The club is an all AA club which works fine for me. But the arrangement of the place is not good at all. There’s a small bar in the front right as you come in; but it holds like only 7 bar chairs which are mostly all filled. The rest of the place seems to be lined with some couches around the perimeter. There are two stages. One is behind you while sitting at the bar and another is down one step in the “main area”. A little room off to the right as you come in has a pool table.

The girls range from average to above average with a gem or two mixed in depending on your taste. Generally there seems to be about a dozen girls or so working on any given weekend night. And I’m not sure how they make enough money to survive. It seems that this place wants to primarily pay those who provide good stage activity. And most of this good stage action occurs after midnight. Of course you can get your own personal dance and YMMV regarding if you can get away with a touch or two.
