First time since name change

First time stopping in since the place was renamed, so quite some time. Walked in the door a little after midnight and started to pay my cover charge for a Friday night, $25 and when the bouncer looked at my ID he rapped on the window and said “Vet discount.” Did not know they offered that but nice touch from the owners to do that. From the entrance the bar window is straight ahead. The men’s room is on the right on the way to the bar. Restrooms were surprisingly nice and clean but it may have been just early since the place is open until at least 3:00 AM.

Got my drink in the plastic cup and tipped the bartender. Looking around the place there is only one small high top table that seems to be where the ladies seem to congregate between dancing and siting with customers at the stage. Seeing no other alternative chose a spot at the stage and began to enjoy the show. Within one song one of the free dancers came over and sat down next to me to chat it up a bit. Usual “First time here, yada, yada, yada.” Nice lady but the 10” platform shoes she hit me with a couple of times did nothing for me so we just chatted a bit and then she said she had to go on stage. While she was on stage some more people showed up and after her set went to sit with a regular.

Quite a variety of dancers from young to a little older, skinny to others that have a lot to hold on to. Most of them did a good job of making it around to all of the guys at the stage. Was having a good time so went up to get another drink at the bar window and get some $1’s. Get them at the same place you paid the cover charge.
