Is it just me, or have the girls become passive?
I hadn't been to any of the local clubs in several months, so while in the area I stopped by DVLC. It was a Saturday night around 11pm, and there were plenty of girls working, but not many guys. I paid the cover and found a seat along the side to watch the show and check out the action. Given the lack of a crowd and the sheer number of girls I saw, I assumed I would be quickly besieged with offers for dances. Surprisingly, it was the exact opposite.
I watched as several girls completed their stage sets, only to emerge from the back and go straight to the locker room rather than soliciting dances. At least 8-10 other girls spent significant time outside smoking, standing near the DJ booth or sitting and looking at their phones. Most of them also proceeded to go back into the locker room for a period of time, and then return to either standing by the DJ or sitting and looking at their phones. I was amazed at the lack of effort, and decided to check and see how long it took before I was approached for a conversation or dance. The answer: 57 minutes.
I should note that during the wait, I had decided that as long as she initiated some conversation and didn't immediately ask for a dance, whichever girl approached first would get a minimum of 3 dances from me. I typically arrive prepared to spend anywhere from $200-$800 for the evening, depending on a variety of factors.
