It's the most wonderful time of the year

Traffic in Austin is terrible. Especially on the East loop between North Austin and the Airport.

I was in town for work and had an early evening flight home. My meetings ended unexpectedly early and I found myself with time on my hands. So, I decided to head toward the airport, but drop off at LS for a couple of hours. The highway construction is frustrating, but you can now see how its going to be better in about a year or so. It's still a challenge to get from the southbound lane (West side of the highway) to the northbound lane where LS is located. I had to go about a mile past the club and do a u-turn to get back over into northbound traffic. Leaving the club and getting southbound again wasn't such a problem.

Arrived, paid a small cover, and headed into the club to find a table and chair. The club wasn't too crowded. Waitress was friendly and not pushy. She told me she would send over anyone I saw who didn't come over to introduce herself. I spotted a trim brunette with B-C cups standing at the far end of the bar. Made eye contact in short order and by the time my drink arrived, she was perched in my lap and we were getting to know each other.
