Might Be a Good Place For Some...

I paid my first visit to Torpedos on a recent Monday afternoon and it will probably be my last. It's not because I had any necessarily bad experiences such as being deliberately lied to and disrespected as has happened at Titillations numerous times or being ripped off, but it's because I'm just not enamored with the whole setup. First off, the women who were working were OK, but nothing overly special - most I would place in the 6-7 range with a few who looked considerably better until they got up really close to you. I didn't find the dollar parade to be too obnoxious (i.e. like Breathless), but it might be because this was the afternoon. It's apparently worse at night.

I did order a lap dance from this fairly decent looking brunette named Bianca and, as previously reported by other posters, the private dance experience is a bit unique. You pay up front to the manager (I assume he was the manager) and then the girl gets some weird looking fake dollar bill ticket and takes you to the back area which is just a bunch of small, odd looking booths with bars on the window. I felt like I was getting a conjugal visit...there are "no touching" signs posted all over the place, but I don't know how valid those are. The manager was within eye shot the entire time I was getting my dance, but he was talking on his cell phone and did not seem to be paying attention to what was going on. In any case I didn't press my luck by trying to get too fresh and the dance featured nothing more than the standard grind. I really wouldn't recommend this place, but others might disagree with me on that.
