Stop #2 of the Weekend

Years ago I drove up and down Route 422 on a fairly regular basis and noticed many times this worn but not worn out building along the highway with a name that sort of said it might be a strip club. Thanks to this website I recently learned that even though the name has changed it really has been a strip club all these years. Since I had an appointment in the Reading area and would be driving by I decided to see what I’ve been missing.

The place is on Route 422, which can be a very busy highway, on the westbound side of the divided highway just north/west of Douglasville and about five miles from the outskirts of Reading. It has a large parking lot but the world will know if your car is parked there. There is a large sign so it’s easy to find the place.

There is a $9 cover on Friday nights. I arrived about 9:00. I estimated about 20 customers at the time, most in the company of a dancer, and additional dancers just circulating around. The place is small. The bar surrounding a two-part stage was nearly full with just that small number of customers, and there was little excess space after that. Just like the outside the inside looked like it could use serious renovation. I had to use the bathroom and must say that those facilities were top of the line. Spacious, clean, no foul odors, well lit and no troll.
