Things Change Fast

I have been visiting the bartenders at Fantasy's Island from the time they were still at Marquis. I had not been in a couple of months so I decided to visit. It used to be a mixed crowd of dancers and customers...Black, white and latino. I was shocked when I walked into an all black crowd...the dancers and the customers. It was packed. Talking to the bartender, she said it all happened within a few weeks. The songs were all heavy rap and the dancers were all twerking, both on stage and off. They would back into a man standing at the bar, start twerking and keep going as long as the man kept stuffing bills. An interesting experience but not my type of music or action. I finished my beer and went home.
