First time in Beltsville

This was my first visit to Showcase. Was in town and decided to give it a go. I visited on a Wednesday night, got there around 11:30. 20 cover, payable at the bar. Alcohol is technically supposed to be BYOB, but a guy working the bar sold me a solo cup of Heineken for $10. They had plenty of mixers, though, so I'd recommend bringing a small bottle or flask of your favorite elixer.

For a "theater" the layout is a little crowded. There's a shallow stage along one wall with several dance poles, and some lounger chairs at the front facing the stage, and two rows of tables and chairs behind the first row. Space is pretty tight. There's a section off to the side with chairs along the wall for lap dances and another room with curtains and couches for private dances.

There were a lot of girls there for a Wednesday night. Maybe 10 total? Mix of races, mostly white and AA. Girls tended toward the slender build this night, which I like. I was actually really impressed with the selection of dancers. It was a slow night, customer wise. There were definitely more girls there than patrons most of the night. The routine is one or two girls at a time dancing on stage, taking tips and giving mini lap dances to people in the first row. Other girls will walk up and ask to sit on your lap and watch dancing. Because of how many girls were working that night, I had a someone on my lap pretty much continuously. Attitude covered the spectrum. Some of the girls were pretty open about just wanting a dance, and if I said no, they would immediately leave for someone else. A couple of girls were happy to just hang out and chat. But everyone was extremely friendly, even the girls that were just hunting for dances. It didn't feel like a hustle.
