Xotica is now Penthouse Club

Xotica is closed and the owners converted the venue to the Penthouse club. I went to Doll House and had fun. Here's my review of Doll house:

Tuscl shows three clubs in Perth, and I believe that Xotica is closed and has been replaced by Penthouse Club since both share the same address. I found another club (The Doll House) by accident. All three seem to open only from Wednesday through Saturday in the evening, but stay open until early morning (5am). I went to Doll House on a Thursday evening. The club is upstairs from a closed up lower entrance. The bouncer gave me a lecture about being a gentleman and told me that phoned had to stay out of sight in the club. There was no cover and beer was $9 from the tap. The club was not busy and one girl was on stage. Since Australia has only coins below $5 you but tip bills from the bar tender for $2 each. I bought $20 worth and hung out at the bar. A cute tall girl named Sapphire sat next to me and struck up a friendly conversation. She was smart and personable and gave me a run down on the club. Dances are $50 for 10 minutes, which seems on par with US clubs. Dances are nude, but no touching is technically not allowed, although Sapphire said she bends the rules sometimes. Sapphire did her stage set and I used my tip money for her. After her set I took her for a dance to see how it worked. You pay the bar tender and she gives the dancer a timer clock to time the dance. Dances are in a typical VIP room with plushy couches. The seating was clean and well spaced and generally nicer than many US clubs I’ve visited. Sapphire gave some modest contact but didn’t allow me to touch. We had drink after the dance which cost me $10. She told me that just across the street was a different club (Club 316) that was a massage/brothel rather than a strip club. She said guys often come to the Doll House first and then go to 316 - she said “We tease ‘em and they please ‘em.”

Sapphire left to see another customer and after a while I talked to another girl who was visiting from the UK. I had a dance with her that was similar - a little contact one way and less enthusiastic. Both girls seemed business like in that they were friendly and conversational at first and while I was paying, but as soon as the transactional time was up they were moving on. Not really unexpected, but for a night when the club was virtually empty I thought it was funny. In general the club was clean and everyone was friendly and professional, and the operation was well organized and I think consistent. I don’t think you find the kind of variation that you see in some US clubs where some girls charge differently or have different rules. Here it seems that everyone follows the same rules and no one deviates.
