Cold winters night in the 'burgh
Had not stopped in for a while so made a point to see if the lady from my last visit was working, she was not. Arrived a little after 10:00 and when I walked in the bartender had to get the doorman over to collect the $10 cover charge. As he came over I noticed that there was a table of ladies to the right and a couple sitting at the bar.
After paying the cover I walked around the bar and sat at the bar closes to the stage. This gave me the best view of the three TV’s that had various sporting events on them. I orders my usual but the bar tender poured something else. Guess that they were out of my liquor. I counted 7 dancers and three customers in the bar. Only one was sitting at the stage.
Over the next hour things did not get that much livelier. Guess the cold was keeping some away? So as I sipped my drink and watched the stage as well as some of the sports, I took in the Christmas decorations that had been put up around the bar. They did not change the physical appearance of what is the usual here but it did make it a little more lively. Too bad the ladies were more interested in catching up on all the latest social media posts around that table or at the bar when some started to gather there. Couple of ladies were taking some holiday snapshots with fellow dancers standing on either side of them with their asses toward the camera. Thought about asking If I could get one but then thought better of it.
