The Republican is an after hours strip bar open until 3:30AM on Thursday night through Saturday night. You need a membership to get in but it's just $5 for the year. Like all after hours places you can smoke. The environment in notoriously grimey with the best example being the barely lit bathroom, which is likely that way for a reason. When you walk in there's the bar, then a tiny stage with two poles, and then a back area for those focused on the girls rather than the drinks. There's a couch back there which has probably seen more lap dances then it would care to tell. The usual crowd is your average strip club patron, but after 2AM everyone comes from the neighboring bars to end their night there. That crowd is mostly white, 30sish guys and girls. They're usually a fun crowd. Oh and there's a cute, tiny, old dog that wanders around. It's friendly so feel free to show it some love.

There's always 3 girls on rotation. There's always one black girl and usually one redheaded white girl with dreads. Aside from that it's a mixed bag including an asian girl on rotation. Generally speaking the girls aren't particularly hot, but they aren't beasts either. Mostly 6'es and 7's, with the occasional 8, but that all depends on preference. Dance-wise you can tell the black girl is a vet, but the rest vary greatly in skill on the pole. They only go topless. After their dances they'll usually walk the floor asking for tips, but they don't push you for much more. Pretty standard imo. The one bonus for the girls here is they generally seem less fake then your average stripper, i.e. genuinely friendly, normal conversation, good reporte with regulars, not pushing you for dances you don't want. The lap dances will run you $20 and they're not going to try to hustle you by dancing through 2 songs and charging you double. There are no private rooms and my sense is that out of the club doesn't happen, but I don't really know. Every girl is different after all.

Prices are on the cheap side as they should be for a neighborhood strip bar. Beers and mixed drinks are about $5. Lap dances sre the standard $20. Cover is only $5 for the year so it's worth it if you live nearby and want to come regularly.
