The last few evenings I’ve been here, the club has been fairly crowded. This is actually a problem because of the way the seating is set up. There is just a long bench along one wall with tiny tables in front. When it’s crowded, you are stuffed sitting close to the other customers. If you want to have a dancer sit with you, it becomes even more cramped and you can feel trapped.
Often when I’m there at night, they play the music too loud. If that is a problem, you can go in the day time or early evening. But then is is dead and feels like a morgue. The lineup has not been too bad the few last times I have visited. But when there is a game playing on the big screen, no one watches the dancers.
I usually go to see and sit with particular dancers, but that is often not a great thing when it’s crowded. They have a third floor area for somewhat private dances, but it’s too pricy fo me, and since there is no touching in DC, it’s not a great value IMHO.
This club seems to now have a set of regulars who come in to mainly goof around and kill time filling up the club, but not tipping a lot. That makes it harder for other locals who like to come in and become regulars with favorite girls. To me, the only benefit to coming to DC clubs is to try to make a long term connection with the dancers, but it is hard to do at this club. If you are an out of towner, DC clubs are a bit of a waste, unless you just have time to kill with nothing better to do.
Camelot and Cloakroom are better for lookee-loos just passing through town.
