Maybe My Last Visit

Recently I made my first visit since spring. While I had a generally good time, it could well be my last visit due to some recent policy changes.

Back in May there were some price increases partly due to changes in local laws. Though noxious, that wasn't a big deal since Admiral still has the highest average quality of dancers of any Chicago-area club I've been to. (And I've visited most of them that aren't all-black.) However, the new change, which apparently happened the week before Thanksgiving, is much more vexing. Full nudity on stage is now history, as is fully nudity during $10 table dances. You can still get full nude on the floor for $20, but you have to be in the back rows. I was there around 9:30-11:30 that night and saw a few dancers still do the full nudes anyway, but I was told that those were dancers who probably hadn't been to the previous week's meeting and so didn't know about the policy change. Full nude is still the standard in 3-for-$100 sets and the private rooms, but it's not going to be as readily-available outside of that as it was before.

Frankly, that's probably a deal-breaker for me. Admiral has by far the highest cover price, is now slightly higher than most Chicago-area clubs for full nude private dances, and is well out of my way to get to when I am in the Chicago area, so the full nudity on stage and in the $10 table dances were the reasons I still came. If that's not a barrier for you then you'll still find a broad selection of almost uniformly great-looking girls who aren't shy about working the crowd (I think nearly every dancer on shift approached me at some point during the roughly 2 hour period that I was there), but if I'm only going to get topless on stage and full nude in private then there are cheaper and closer places in the region to go to.
