Two “First Time” Vis

Having taken some time off from the strip club scene in Detroit after growing tired of the Airport/Michigan Ave. clubs I decided to give Subi’s a visit for the first time on a recent Tuesday, arriving around 4:30. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor, which I expected to be more local bar like. It was on the smallish side compared to other clubs, but looked nice and actually more like a upper tier club than I expected. I sat at the bar (on the left as you come in) and had one beer (nicely priced at $5) in the hour I was there. Talent was very mediocre, 5 - 6 with about 6 dancers, 5 white and 1 AA. Two asked me if I wanted company, but none of them were particularly interesting or sexy to me, so I quckly cut my losses (as small as they were) and left.

Previous reviews of the hit and miss nature of Subi’s stuck in my mind, and since there was nothing particularly negative about the first visit, except lack of talent, I decided to give the place another chance. And it turned out to be well worth the time and money. This time I took the advice of previous reviews and grabbed a booth (free = worth it). Arrived Friday afternoon about 3:30 and immediately observed an upgrade in talent and numbers. I was quickly greeted by a very pretty AA waitress who was attentive And pleasant whole time I was there. There were somewhere between 11 and 15 dancers and about the same number of customers. After about 10 minutes of watching the state show I was approached by very pretty AA dancer who told me it was her first day at Subi’s. After some small talk she disclosed that she had been dancing for about a 18 months and had been at most of the Michigan Ave. clubs and Omar’s in Lansing (a blast from the very distant past for me). She was my type, slim with a healthy body and great smile. She said she was 22 which made sense given her looks. Her on stage performance was exceptional compared to every other dancer in the place. Pretty sensual for a 22 yr old (they usually don’t have that part figured out yet) and definitely suggestive. She came right back to me after her on stage performance and we enjoyed a drink together ($10 wine for me, $12 whiskey for her) and dicussed options. VIP entry which guarantees adequate privacy is $60 (there is another no privacy free option). VIP sounded like the right choice with this beautiful young lady. We negotiated a $200 FS and for me it was well worth it. Some would say it was an expensive afternoon, but the value was exceptional, especially in the VIP. A very different experience from my first visit. My advice - always get a booth! The opportunity it ceates to get “close” to the ladies always seems to payoff. It certainly did this time!
