I have visited the Gold Club a few times over the past few months, so this review will be an overview across different days and times. Valet parking is mandatory. Only the valets are allowed to park cars in the club’s parking lot. It is a pure profit play for the club. The regular valet fee is $6, where your car gets parked somewhere out of sight behind the club. The premium valet is $15, where your car gets parked in front of the club where you can actually see it. If you are going to self park, you are going to have to risk parking at a business or in a residential area. You can potentially be towed if you are not careful. Melrose Park will tow cars without resident stickers on its residential streets. With that said, I have figured out a place or two to park blocks away and just walk over to the Gold Club. The valets sometimes question me, pissed they are not getting my money, but I just tell them I took a Lyft or walked from my hotel. There is no cover charge or dress code before 20:00. After 20:00, there is a $10 cover charge and all jackets and hats must be checked with the door girl.

There is a long hallway to the left when you enter. The main room of the club has a large island stage about three feet off the ground with two poles. There is also one small square satellite stage. There is an elevated VIP area to the left that is two steps higher than the rest of the club. This wing of the club has a small square island stage that is barely off the ground. The DJ booth is on the far right wall. To get to the bar, you have to hook around to the right into an alcove. There are large mesh metal balls hanging from the ceiling over the bar area. The strip club is only two years old and there is no excessive wear shown yet.

The club runs a Happy Hour from 17:00 to 19:00 on weekdays. Domestic beers are $2, call drinks are $5, and lap dances are two for the price of one. There are usually only three or four dancers working that early, so Happy Hour is not worth going to unless you want cheap drinks with isolation. On Thursday, topless lap dances are discounted to $10. The usual price is $30 per song. The price for bottled beer outside of Happy Hour is $5.
