I've been to Gold Club perhaps 3 or 4 times this year during the afternoon, and my previous reviews were tempered with the expectations that come from going to strip clubs at that time of day. Since I usually need to bounce by 4 pm or 5 pm to get home to Mrs. Kenrod, I'd come to expect (and even appreciate?) that Gold Club is a bar where you'll occasionally meet strippers if you visit in the afternoon. For work reasons, I had a hotel maybe 5 minutes away and I figured I'd see what Gold Club could offer in the evenings.

Long story short: not much before 9 pm. I arrived around 4:30, at which time $6 valet service was in effect, though there was no cover charge, or even an attendant, at the door. From that time until about 7 pm, there were maybe 4 ladies working the floor for about twenty dudes, and they all seemed to be focused on what I assumed to be their regulars since I caught barely a sideways glance from any of them. By the time I left around 9 pm, perhaps there were 8 ladies working the floor, and no regular stage shows had begun. I was successful in finally getting a few dances from Angelina (cutie with pretty good looking fake boobs), which was money well spent on $10 dance night.

The other reviews are 100% accurate regarding timing here, as there's very little action to be had before 9 pm. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't have bothered showing up as early as I did, except that I did get to enjoy the $2 happy hour domestic beer bottles. Hopefully I'll get the chance to swing by the club some time late at night, as the stage layout and club atmosphere looks like it could get fun.
