Still worth visiting!

Was in Phoenix over the past weekend and made an effort to stop by HL. They still have their liquor license (for now), and still have their happy hour 2-for-1 specials. I took a seat at the bar and quickly realized that I didn't recognize any of the dancers on shift. Not only were the dancers new, but the wait staff was also different, except for the bouncers.

While at the bar, I continued to survey the floor and listen to the DJ announce the dancers as they came on stage to dance their 1 song rotation. Even though there were many customers and dancers, it was rather tame on the floor with only a couple of table dances taking place. Definitely appears that the new policy about contact on the floor dances has taken quite a toll.

Finally, a familiar name is called and I went to go tip her on stage. Interested in catching up for old times sake, we went back to the VIP. Did take note of roaming bouncers in the VIP, but still received the same quality dances that I've grown to love from HL. Upon exiting the VIP, did take note on the tablet they use to track dancers' time. I found it interesting that they don't actually count the dances, but rather count the time you and the dancer are in VIP. I believe they take the time spent and divide by 3 to give roughly the number of songs you had, so try your best to keep track.
