I have patronized San Francisco strip clubs for over thirty years. Originally it was Mitchell Brothers but for the past ten years I have gone to Crazy Horse. I visit DejaVu clubs when I travel out of town, but not here. I have had gorgeous, sexy regular dancers all of that time, a series of women that I visit a couple of times a month at least. I believe there are many PLs like me, but the vast majority of reviews come from PLs who have only visited the club once or once a year. Newbies are treated differently by dancers at all strip clubs. Dancers are likely to be more aggressive when they've never seen you before and are not likely to see you again.

Crazy Horse had big plans for renovation when the last recession hit. And after that no improvements have been made. Discretionary income was really flowing before that recession and the sex business in San Francisco has not been the same since. The Internet and its free and cheap porn seems to have diminished the current strip clubs here. The theater facilities are tired and worn. The upholstery in the lap dance room was red, now it's black after all those dances. Even the $100 rooms are not well maintained. The only lighting in the place is red; nobody looks great in that light. The stage mirrors are not kept clean. But it is unlikely it will ever improve. Mid-Market building continues and the row of adjacent building to the east have been torn down with new large mixed use buildings being built. It is unlikely that Crazy Horse will survive another five years.

Crazy Horse is never crowded when I visit, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Between 6-7 cover charge is $16. When I was younger I'd go later and stay later but not anymore. Business is slow, as is the entertainment. Only in the last year have they operated with no dancer on stage for a song or two or three. Then you really feel like a PL. But the same thing now occurs at Mitchell Brothers as well. There is not a steady flow of lovely, fresh twentysomethings that now want the life of a stripper. I still have my favorites and thoroughly enjoy myself with a few lap dances and a couple of private sessions. Crazy Horse dancers are mixed race, Asians, Caucasians, Hispanic and black.
