First taste of America

A bit of background. I'm a Brit with some experience of UK clubs, a small amount of experience with European clubs, and no previous experience with American clubs.

Gosh. New York is weird in many ways, and perhaps the weirdest thing is their attitude to strip clubs. In terms of forcing the girls to wear clothes they're almost prudish, and yet what the girls actually do is borderline obscene. The contrast is hard to get your head around.

It had been an odd sort of day. I'd been in the city a day or so, which was long for the skyscrapers to have made the mental transition from awesome attractions to background, but not yet long enough to not be shocked by the legions of angry joggers, armies of rats, and the people rowing backwards in Central Park. An escape to a strip club was needed.
