Late afternoon visit

I haven't been to Silk in a while so I thought I would stop in for a look. This place has been hot and cold for me and I really think it depends on who is working. The place is easy to get to right off of 41. The parking lot was safe with the Harley dealership right next door. As I enter the door I an asked for my ID. I just hate that, really? He looks it over for 10 seconds and hands it back. The entry fee was $5 and it was about 4:45 PM. There were plenty of cars in the lot but when I went in there were only about 6 customers in the place mostly sitting at the bar. I ordered a beer for $3 and sat at a table near the stage to get a good view. I only saw 6 dancers walking around, mostly white an AA. I would rate the best lady at a 7, most in the 5-6 range and 1 that was a 3. I only stayed 45 minutes, no dancer approached me and I was hoping to go in back for a dance but it didn't happen. I went to the stage and tipped a white a cupper who could really dance. She was friendly at the rail but said she was leaving and that dayshift was dead. I went to the bar hoping to get a dancers attention but to no avail. If there were more dancers, they were hiding in the back. I left a little disappointed. 45 minutes, 5 for entry, 3 for beer, 10 dollars tipping the dancer on stage, watched 2 others, one was attached to a customer and the other only danced at a pole far away where no customers were sitting??? I may not go back for a while.
