Decided to make a trip to EI on a Sunday. It's been a while since I have been here on a Sunday. The first thing you notice once going into the dance area is the red lights. The dance area is now filled with those hanging plastic light "flower" covers affixed with red lights. Felt like I was walking through the red light district in Amsterdam. On top of the red lights, there was a multi colored disco ball right by the stage and multi colored wall lights near the VIP section. It's become a lot brighter in there more security guards.
There room was packed and there were a lot dancers there. I got the first few dances from a spinner with a great smile and afro-ish hairdoo. The next dances was from a spinner who wore a sarong most of the time. The best dances I had were from a light skinned spinner with dreads (looked a bit like Tessa Thompson) and from a dancer named Desire.
The place was packed with custies so you would lose your seat as soon as you got up or you're hunting for a seat for a bit after walking in. Spent two hours there and had a good time with exception of it being so brightly lit.
